Ukraine said its forces attacked a Russian missile production facility, including those producing Iskander short-range missiles and Topol-M intercontinental ballistic missiles, in Votkinsk, east of Moscow and about 1,400 km from Ukraine.
In a statement on Telegram, Ukrainian forces said they used domestically produced ground-launched Flamingo cruise missiles. The attack caused a fire at the site, according to the Ukrainian military.

Earlier, Alexander Brechalov, the governor of Russia's Udmurtia region, said a location there had been attacked by drones overnight. "There was damage and casualties as a result of the incident," Brechalov said in a video posted on the Telegram app.
The Rosaviatsiya Civil Aviation Authority announced that the airport in the main city of Izhevsk in the Udmurtia region and airports in neighboring cities have temporarily suspended operations.
On the other side of the front line, Russia also regularly uses ballistic missiles and drones to attack Ukraine's military and energy infrastructure.

In the latest development, an Oreo cookie factory in eastern Ukraine was hit by a Russian missile on Saturday, according to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha in a post on X. This is the second time the factory has been damaged since the war began in 2022.
No one was killed, but a production facility was damaged. The facility, located in Trostyanets, is owned by the snack food giant Mondelez International.
The factory was severely damaged in 2022 when Russia attacked Ukraine. It partially reopened in 2023 to produce chocolate and then resumed Oreo cookie production in 2024.
