On June 13th, at the An Duong 1 storm shelter area (Phu Thuan commune, Phu Vang district, Hue City), the Thuan An Port Border Guard Station, Hue City Border Guard Command, in coordination with local authorities and fishermen, successfully rescued a sunken fishing vessel.
According to initial information, at 8:00 AM on the same day, Mr. Nguyen Van Muon (born in 1966, residing in An Duong 3 village, Phu Thuan commune, Phu Vang district), the owner of fishing vessel TTH-91126-TS, discovered that his vessel was flooding the hull, causing it to sink.

The initial cause was determined to be prolonged heavy rain combined with the heavy weight of the nets and fishing gear on board, which caused the ship to sink.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Thuan An Port Border Guard Station dispatched 10 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities and fishermen to urgently implement a rescue and salvage plan for the ship.
By 2 PM the same day, the authorities had successfully salvaged the vessel TTH-91126-TS, with no casualties or property damage.
