Based on that reality, opinions shared with the "Soldier's Opinions" page all suggest that: Officers and soldiers throughout the army need to uphold responsibility, maintain integrity and discipline, and adhere to the Code of Conduct for a Culturally Advanced Digital Environment in the Vietnam People's Army (the Code) to spread the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers.
Affirming the courage and sense of discipline of military personnel.
The Code of Conduct is of practical significance, contributing to guiding the awareness, behavior, and responsibility of each soldier when participating in cyberspace. Immediately after the Code was issued, the Party Committee and command of the 968th Division directed subordinate agencies and units to seriously implement it among all officers and soldiers; incorporating its implementation into leadership resolutions, work plans, Party branch meetings, political activities, Youth Union activities, and regular unit activities, linking it with training, combat readiness, building a regular army, and troop management. To effectively implement the Code of Conduct in the future, we will continue to strengthen leadership and guidance; promote education and propaganda; closely combine management and inspection with guidance; and promote the exemplary role of the officer corps.
The digital environment offers many benefits in learning, work, information exchange, and the dissemination of positive values. However, it is also a space that harbors many potential risks such as fake news, harmful information, fraud, gambling, illegal lending, and inappropriate speech, especially the risk of leaking military secrets. For military personnel, every word, image, article, or comment on the internet not only reflects personal awareness and responsibility but is also linked to military honor, military discipline, unit reputation, and the image of the Ho Chi Minh Army. Therefore, practicing a culture of conduct in the digital environment is a crucial requirement, reflecting the political acumen, organizational discipline, and responsibility of each officer and soldier. Adhering to the Code of Conduct helps military personnel improve their ability to identify, verify, and share accurate information; proactively prevent violations of law and discipline; and avoid being influenced or manipulated by harmful information. For the unit, this is a crucial solution to maintain ideological stability, protect military secrets, build a healthy cultural environment, strengthen internal unity, and improve overall quality and combat strength.
It is both a moral requirement and a political responsibility.
The digital environment facilitates rapid access to official information and new knowledge for officers and soldiers, enabling the exchange of professional knowledge and skills, and spreading the image of the "Uncle Ho's Soldiers"—the Navy soldiers—as well as the traditions of the Army and the unit. However, it also harbors many potential risks and negative impacts on the ideology, discipline, and image of military personnel. For officers and soldiers of the combat ship force, culturally appropriate behavior in the digital environment is not only a moral requirement but also linked to political responsibility, discipline, and military security. Based on this reality, Brigade 172 consistently focuses on leading and directing the management and education of military personnel participating in the digital environment. The unit strictly maintains regulations on protecting secrets, information security, personnel management, and the management of transmitting and receiving devices and smartphones; combining education with inspection, reminders, and strict handling of any subjective or irresponsible behavior. At the same time, the unit guides its officers, union members, and female members to use social media in a civilized and positive manner; proactively combating and refuting false views and harmful information with a calm, reasoned, and compliant attitude. As a result, the unit's officers and soldiers have a basic understanding and sense of responsibility when participating in the digital environment, contributing to spreading the unit's traditions and the positive image of the Navy.
Immediately after the Ministry of National Defence issued the Code of Conduct, the Party Committee and command of Brigade 172 organized the dissemination and thorough understanding of the Code to 100% of officers and soldiers through various measures to ensure that each soldier understands, acts correctly, and voluntarily complies with it. Strict adherence to the Code of Conduct will help each soldier develop the habit of using the digital environment in accordance with the law, regulations, and military cultural norms; knowing how to select, verify, and share information responsibly. For the unit, this will contribute to maintaining ideological stability, preventing disciplinary violations, protecting military secrets, building a healthy cultural environment, and unifying will and action.

Protect yourself, maintain the reputation of the unit.
The Military Command of Au Lau Ward organized the dissemination and thorough understanding of the Regulations to all officers, non-commissioned officers, militia forces, and reserve soldiers. In addition, the unit focused on educating and raising awareness of the responsibilities of soldiers when using the internet and social media; guiding skills in identifying harmful and fake information, online scams, and regulations on protecting military secrets and state secrets while using smart devices and digital platforms.
The digital environment offers many benefits but also harbors many risks such as fake news, harmful information, fraud, and the risk of information leaks. For military personnel, culturally appropriate behavior in the digital environment not only demonstrates political integrity and organizational discipline but also contributes to maintaining the image and prestige of the Army. Therefore, adhering to the Code of Conduct will help each officer and soldier improve their awareness and skills in the digital space, reduce violations of laws and discipline, and contribute to building a healthy military cultural environment. In the coming time, the Military Command of Au Lau Ward will continue to promote propaganda and education; strengthen management and guidance on the use of social media; promote the exemplary role of officers and Party members; maintain official information channels, and promptly combat and refute false and hostile viewpoints, contributing to building a safe, civilized, and healthy digital environment.
The more influential you are, the more important it is to set an example.
The Code of Conduct serves as a "guidebook" to preserving the image and honor of military personnel and the Army, and to build a culturally disciplined unit. I find implementing the Code of Conduct not difficult, because we are always educated and trained in a highly disciplined environment; we are regularly informed, instructed, and required to strictly adhere to the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, and military discipline. In our artistic activities and interactions with the public in the digital environment, my colleagues and I are always conscious of maintaining the image of military personnel, strictly adhering to regulations on protecting military secrets, and spreading the positive values of the Ho Chi Minh Army.
As an artist-soldier with significant public influence, the responsibility of setting a good example is even more crucial. I always remind myself that every statement and action represents the image of a soldier in the Vietnam People's Army in general and a soldier in the Southeast region in particular. To spread the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era, the officers and staff of the Military Arts Troupe of Military Region 7 are always actively composing, performing, and uploading music videos of traditional and revolutionary songs. Through these, they tell humane stories about the bond between soldiers and civilians, love for the homeland, and the Vietnamese people through the artistic lens of music; contributing to arousing patriotism in the audience, using the beauty of art to fight against and refute erroneous views on the internet, and spreading the positive energy of the younger generation following in the footsteps of their ancestors. The soldiers on the cultural and artistic front will continuously strive to promote positive values, making the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era shine brighter and become closer to the people of the whole country.
Understanding the right way to behave in the digital environment.
The digital environment offers many benefits, such as: abundant and engaging information; easy access to information for learning; and the dissemination of positive role models and good deeds. However, the digital environment also harbors many potential risks and negative impacts. These include the emergence of harmful and toxic information, fake news, and distorted narratives from hostile forces; fraudulent activities; and the risk of leaking personal information and military secrets. Through education and analysis by management staff and lecturers, we understand that the digital environment has the ability to spread information at a dizzying speed, so "good news travels fast, but bad news spreads even faster and further." In particular, malicious individuals always exploit the inappropriate behavior of military personnel to undermine the reputation of the Army. Therefore, every military personnel, especially young military personnel, needs to uphold their responsibility and behave in a cultured manner in the digital environment in accordance with the Code of Conduct. I will also always remind myself to raise awareness and responsibility when participating in the digital environment: Adhere strictly to rules and regulations; use the internet only for necessary purposes, serving my studies and research. At the same time, share and spread the Code of Conduct to family and friends so that everyone can see the advantages and disadvantages of the digital environment.
