CAHN Club Fanpage briefly wrote: "The top stage welcomes Van Hau. Slowly, surely, and expectantly, Van Hau's legs have officially returned."
Before that, Van Hau only had a few minutes to warm up in a friendly match against Hanoi FC in early October, then continued to be given the opportunity in a test match against Lion City Sailors on November 14. Regular preparation sessions helped him regain his competitive feeling, preparing for a full return.
Van Hau's recovery journey is a long and arduous one. An Achilles injury has caused him to miss his appointment with the Vietnam national team since October 2023. Although initially expected to be out for only 6-8 months, his condition has not improved with conservative treatment.
By March 2024, the defender was forced to undergo surgery, then repeatedly traveled to Singapore and South Korea for intensive treatment. There was a period when he had to immobilize his leg with a splint, almost separating him from the training ground. That was the time when the 25-year-old player experienced the biggest challenge of his career.
Therefore, this return is very meaningful. CAHN is having to rotate in 5 arenas and really needs a defender with good tactical thinking, strong in disputes and enough courage to fix the times when the team is out of position. Van Hau fits all those requirements: solid, experienced and able to make a difference from the sidelines.
Not only CAHN, the Vietnamese team is also watching his return. A healthy Van Hau will bring depth, strength and stability to the defense.
