The CAHN Club fanpage wrote concisely: "The ultimate stage welcomes Van Hau. Slowly, surely, and with anticipation, Van Hau's legs have officially returned."
Previously, Van Hau only had a few minutes to warm up in a friendly match against Hanoi FC in early October, before being given another opportunity in a test match against Lion City Sailors on November 14th. These regular preparation sessions helped him regain his match fitness, preparing him for a full comeback.
Van Hau's recovery journey has been a long and arduous one. A heel injury kept him out of the Vietnamese national team from October 2023. Although initially only 6-8 months were predicted to be out, his condition did not improve with conservative treatment.
In March 2024, the defender was forced to undergo surgery, and subsequently traveled to Singapore and South Korea for intensive treatment. There was a period when he had to immobilize his leg with a brace, almost completely isolating him from training. That was the most challenging time of the 25-year-old's career.
Therefore, this return is very significant. CAHN is rotating its squad across five competitions and desperately needs a defender with good tactical awareness, strong in tackles, and the composure to cover up moments when the team's momentum is disrupted. Van Hau fits all those requirements: reliable, experienced, and capable of making a difference with his runs down the wing.
Not only CAHN, but the Vietnamese national team is also closely following his return. A healthy Van Hau would bring depth, strength, and stability to the defense.
