(NLĐO) - The special art program "The Song of Unity Resounds Forever" will take place tonight, November 1st, at the City Theater.

This is an art program commemorating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front, the traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , and celebrating the success of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029, and the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2024-2029.

The art program celebrating the success of the Congress, themed "The Song of Unity Resounds Forever," was directed by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee; organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; and implemented by the City's Light Music Center.

On October 2nd and 3rd, 2024, the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, for the term 2024-2029, was successfully held. With the spirit of "Unity - Democracy - Compassion - Innovation - Development," the Congress called upon all strata of the people, intellectuals, outstanding individuals of all ethnic groups and religions, and Vietnamese people abroad, to unite, leverage the strength of the great national unity, and resolutely implement the Congress's action program successfully.

The 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term took place from October 16-18, 2024. The Congress was attended by 1,052 delegates representing various social classes, strata, ethnic groups, religions, armed forces, and overseas Vietnamese. With the spirit of "Unity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development," the Congress adopted a Resolution outlining the direction, objectives, and tasks for the 2024-2029 period; identifying 10 specific targets and 6 action programs; and assigning the Presidium and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term, to research, incorporate, supplement, finalize, announce, and organize their implementation.

From the forum of the Congress, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front called on all social classes and strata, all people, ethnic minorities, religious groups, intellectuals, artists, businesspeople, enterprises, and overseas Vietnamese to continue to further uphold the spirit of patriotism and national pride, to have absolute faith in the leadership of the Party and the management of the State, and to contribute their intellect and efforts to continuously consolidate and strengthen the tradition and strength of national unity, combined with the strength of the times, to work together to build the country.
