According to ABC , Suborno Isaac Bari, 12, from Hempstead, Nassau County, New York, will graduate from high school on July 3rd.

Suborno became the youngest student ever to graduate from high school in Nassau County history, according to the Malverne School District office.

"Absolutely amazing experience"

Appearing on ABC 's "Good Morning America," Suborno shared that she was very happy to have just graduated from high school and would be starting college this September.

Speaking about her educational journey, Suborno called it an absolutely wonderful experience. "I've been around so many amazing people and learned so much about math, science , and other subjects. I think I'm ready to continue and pursue higher education," Suborno said.

With his exceptional academic abilities, the 12-year-old boy was granted special permission to skip grades 5, 6, 7, 9, and 11. He has already completed grades 4, 8, and 10 and is now in grade 12.

Having finished high school early and completed the AP (Advanced Placement) program, Suborno took aptitude tests for college admissions, including an SAT score of 1200 out of 1600 and a 34/36 score on the ACT.

The boy always craved knowledge.

With 25 years of experience in education , Rebecca Gottesman, the head of the Malverne school district's high school program, calls Suborno a "prodigy."

“This boy is so eager to learn and so thirsty for knowledge, unlike any student I’ve ever met. He’s truly a genius,” said Mrs. Gottesman.

According to Ms. Gottesman, the school and family are working together to enable Suborno to participate in higher grades while still integrating with his peers at the primary school level. "We signed an agreement that allows the boy to attend secondary school in the mornings and then take the bus to primary school in the afternoons," Ms. Gottesman said.

Despite his advanced studies, Suborno was welcomed and supported by his teachers and older classmates, who went out of their way to help him pursue his interests. "The older students treated me like any other high school student," Suborno said.

The boy aspires to graduate from university at age 14, then continue his studies to earn a doctorate and become a university lecturer.

This coming September, Suborno will become a freshman at New York University, having been awarded a scholarship to pursue a bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics.

"Many young people choose their majors at university simply because their parents guide them, not because they truly love it. Therefore, I hope my own story will help change that so that people can better understand the beauty of mathematics and basic sciences in general," Suborno shared.

Suborno's parents are both teachers. Specifically, his father teaches physics at Brooklyn Technical High School (New York City) and his mother is an elementary school teacher. His parents noticed their youngest son, Suborno, was exceptionally intelligent in 2014 while teaching him basic math. Besides his outstanding academic abilities, the family says Suborno has a talent for drawing, debating, and playing the piano.
