Ms. Rodriguez stated that the center will open at 7:00 PM local time (6:00 AM on June 27th in Vietnam) at the Poliedro de Caracas arena in the south of the capital. Registered volunteers will be organized according to their expertise and support capabilities.

Ms. Rodriguez urged those not involved in rescue or security work to stay away from the La Guaira area, the state hardest hit by the earthquakes. She reiterated that this restriction was intended to avoid traffic congestion so that security and rescue forces could access the affected areas without hindrance.
Meanwhile, technical and humanitarian aid from more than 10 countries has begun arriving in Venezuela to help victims and support early reconstruction efforts in the South American nation. According to the latest official figures, the series of earthquakes in Venezuela on June 24th killed at least 920 people and injured more than 3,360, causing significant damage to infrastructure along the country's central coast.
