Children here are involved in community activities with village cohesion, familiar with the terrain of hills, rivers, and love folk games, cultural activities, arts, and traditional sports . Identifying this characteristic, communes, wards, mass organizations in villages, areas, inter-family groups, and businesses located in the area join hands to care for and create an attractive and meaningful playing and living environment for children.

Trung Vuong Ward (Uong Bi City) organized a gift-giving ceremony for children with high achievements in the launching ceremony of the Month of Action for Children 2025.

Dien Cong 1, 2, 3 villages of Trung Vuong ward, with the characteristics of a part of the population living on the river, the locality and organizations have urgently coordinated to open classes and mobilize families to send their children to learn to swim, build soccer teams and organize regular practice. Mr. Le Van Vinh (Dien Cong 3 village) said: Almost all children in Dien Cong know how to swim from an early age, but that does not mean that swimming classes are unnecessary. These classes not only help children develop proper swimming and diving skills, but also serve as a place for them to play according to their strengths, and even practice and improve their swimming and diving skills, helping children with talent and physical strength to participate in swimming competitions in schools and other open swimming competitions in the future.

In Vang Danh ward, the children here are mainly miners' children. They participate in summer activities organized by Vang Danh Coal Joint Stock Company, and participate in activities in the neighborhood's summer program. From the spirit of joining hands to care for children, currently every year Uong Bi City has received support from agencies, units, businesses and individuals in the area in cash and in kind worth 400-500 million VND. This resource is used for practical forms of assistance, making a very important contribution to the implementation of goals and plans to protect and care for children in especially difficult circumstances, children of war invalids, martyrs, orphans, disabled children, children of poor households, along with many meaningful activities, helping them overcome inferiority complex, difficulties, creating motivation to excel in learning and comprehensive development.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice Chairman of Uong Bi City People's Committee, affirmed: Uong Bi City is currently continuing to strengthen communication to children about knowledge and skills on child protection in drug prevention, traffic safety, injury accidents and especially drowning prevention; equipping children with life skills and self-protection skills; building a safe family and community environment for children; detecting unsafe factors and risks of harming children to have measures to overcome and eliminate them... Especially in the context that from July 1, there will no longer be a district level, the newly formed wards will continue to strictly manage students living in residential areas and hand over students to return to school, preparing good conditions for children to enter the new school year.
