To meet the constantly growing number of tourists, in the period 2022 - 2023, the terminal has promoted the installation and operation of technological equipment, contributing to automating the passenger check-in process. Specifically, procedural automation equipment has been installed such as the automatic immigration control system (autogate), automatic departure gate (auto boarding gate), and self-check-in counters. kiosks).
Especially for the first time in Vietnam, Da Nang airport terminal T2 has introduced a self-bag-drop counter system into its operation process and has been pioneered by Starlux airline. , marking an important milestone when the entire airport check-in process is completely automated.
"Since being put into operation, these systems have brought many significant changes, helping to reduce check-in time and create more convenient travel flow during peak hours," said Mr. Do Trong Hau. , at the same time emphasizing that T2 station is continuing to promote digital transformation according to the strategic direction of building a smart station.
