On September 8, 2017, the VNPT Business Center - Lao Cai, the Trade Union, the Youth Union of the Science and Technology Department, and the Business Development Department - units under the Vietnam Telecommunications Services Corporation, together with the Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province and the Lao Cai Provincial Youth Union, jointly organized the inauguration ceremony of the charitable construction project for the Vai Sieu village kindergarten in Thuong Ha commune, Bao Yen district, amidst the joyful atmosphere of the teachers, students, and parents of the Vai Sieu village kindergarten.

With the aim of serving society and the community, and to promptly share the difficulties faced by preschool children in Vai Sieu village, Thuong Ha commune, Bao Yen district, who have to study in difficult and deprived conditions, the Trade Union, Youth Union of the Science and Technology Department, the Business Department - VNPT VinaPhone Telecommunications Service Corporation and the VEMBA5 Charity Fund have joined forces to implement a charitable program called "Warming the Remote Village" through mobilizing and sponsoring capital to work with the Education Department of Lao Cai province to build a new classroom for Vai Sieu village preschool in Thuong Ha commune.


Five-year-old kindergarten children from Vai Sieu village performed a cultural show at the classroom inauguration ceremony.

After 90 days of intensive and responsible construction, the project has been completed, featuring a spacious and well-equipped facility with modern equipment, tools, and toys for preschool children, with a total value of over 400 million VND.
The "Warming Up Remote Villages" program, implemented by VNPT-Vinaphone across the country, aims to build schools and homes for students in particularly disadvantaged areas nationwide. The Vai Sieu village kindergarten is one of the projects contributing to the achievement of the new rural development goals of Thuong Ha commune, Bao Yen district, in 2020.

At the inauguration ceremony, Ms. Duong Bich Nguyet, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Vietnam Telecommunications Services Corporation (VNPT) and sponsoring units and philanthropists in developing the province's education system. Representatives of VNPT VinaPhone also pledged to continuously expand the model and further develop this program to build more schools and homes throughout the country, in line with the program's name, "VinaPhone - Warming Up Remote Villages".
