Images of a new VinFast electric motorcycle model have recently appeared across Indian media outlets. According to Rushlane , VinFast has just registered a new patent in India for this electric motorcycle model, with a design different from the models currently sold in the Vietnamese market.
Based on images registered with the Intellectual Property Office of India (IP India), the model shares many similarities with the VinFast Viper in Vietnam, but with refined design elements.
First, the LED DRL headlights on the Indian version have been redesigned with a wing-like shape. The brand logo has also been positioned lower, closer to the front fender. The bodywork has also been modified with new body panels. Compared to the current version in Vietnam, the taillights have also undergone some minor changes.
Other components such as the telescopic front forks, the dual air-cushioned rear shock absorbers, the front disc brakes, the design of the footrests, the wheel design, and the placement of the electric motor on the rear axle remain unchanged compared to the version currently sold in Vietnam.

The release date, engine details, and price of the new model in India are currently unknown. In Vietnam, this electric scooter is equipped with an Inhub BLDC motor on the rear wheel, producing a maximum power of 3 kW and allowing the vehicle to reach a top speed of 70 km/h.
When equipped with a standard 1.5 kWh battery pack, the VinFast Viper can travel a maximum distance of approximately 82 km. The maximum range increases to 156 km when both batteries are installed.
The VinFast Viper is sold in Vietnam at a price starting from 39.9 million VND for the version without a battery, increasing to 45.5 million VND for the version with a battery. Previously, according to several sources in India, VinFast had also publicly announced plans to distribute electric motorcycles in that market in the near future. The models expected to be introduced in India soon include the VinFast Evo, Feliz II, and Viper.
