On March 22, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Sports Administration, the Vietnam Olympic Committee, the Vietnam Paralympic Committee coordinated with the Hanoi People's Committee to organize the program "Glory of Vietnam Sports 2025" and launch the Olympic Running Day for the health of all people.
The event aims to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the Sports and Physical Training Industry's Traditional Day (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2025) and the day Uncle Ho wrote the article "Physical Training and Health" calling on people to exercise.
The Organizing Committee awarded Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism , and honored 10 athletes, 5 coaches, 3 sports teams, 5 disabled athletes and 3 outstanding disabled sports coaches who had outstanding achievements in 2024.
Female shooter Trinh Thu Vinh topped the list of Outstanding Athlete, while disabled weightlifter Le Van Cong topped the list of Outstanding Athlete.
