On the morning of January 18th, the People's Committee of Vu Thu district held a conference to summarize the work of culture, information, sports , and tourism in 2023 and to implement tasks for 2024.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented certificates of commendation to individuals with outstanding achievements.
In 2023, Vu Thu district actively implemented digital transformation. The entire district received over 18,500 applications through the online public service portal, with 83.7% of applications processed online and 83.7% digitized online applications. 91.7% of households in the district achieved the title of "Culturally Advanced Family," and 94.7% of residential areas achieved the title of "Culturally Advanced Village/Neighborhood." Sports and physical activities were maintained and expanded to include a wider range of participants. The District Party Committee issued a resolution to promote tourism development in the locality.
In 2024, the Culture and Information sector of Vu Thu district closely followed and disseminated important political tasks in the locality; effectively managed festivals, especially organizing the Keo Pagoda festival well; encouraged people to unite and actively participate in building a cultural life and healthy sports activities. The district continued to implement digital transformation activities, strengthened radio frequency management; and paid attention to and gradually developed tourism into an important economic sector of the district.

Leaders of the Vu Thu District People's Committee presented certificates of commendation to outstanding collectives and individuals for their contributions to cultural and sports activities and the development of reading culture spaces.
At the conference, 8 collectives and 13 individuals with outstanding achievements in management, cultural, information, sports activities, and the development of reading culture spaces were commended and awarded.
