Hanoi : A series of spectacular events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day
The series of activities ranges from grand national concerts, traditional and modern art programs, national parades to cultural exhibitions, creative spaces, along with experience areas, talk shows and entertainment activities for young people.
On September 1 and 2, the city will simultaneously organize a series of large-scale art, cultural and entertainment events in many key areas, creating a jubilant festival atmosphere throughout the localities.

The parade is expected to gather more than 40,000 people, including armed forces, the masses and parade groups from four guest countries, taking place in a solemn national ceremony at Ba Dinh Square.

The event is a grand ceremony, combined with a festive atmosphere, music and vivid visual images, honoring the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and Vietnam's National Day, taking place from 6:30 - 10:00 on September 2 at Ba Dinh Square and central streets (Hung Vuong, Hoang Dieu, Kim Ma, Lieu Giai...).

A party of music - light - modern technology recreates 80 years of heroic history of the nation, arousing the desire for sustainable development.
The program is directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, hosted by the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet, in coordination with major art units, divided into 3 parts: The Road to Independence - Unification; Aspiration for the Fatherland; My Fatherland, Never So Beautiful . More than 300 artists, singers and musicians will participate in the performance, including People's Artist Thanh Lam, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi, My Tam, Tung Duong, Soobin Hoang Son, Den, Trong Tan, Pham Thu Ha, Oplus group, Ngu Cung band, Dong Thoi Gian group... The program takes place from 8:00 p.m. on September 1 at My Dinh National Stadium, Hanoi.

High altitude fireworks display
The program is held from 9-9:15 pm at 5 key locations (Hoan Kiem Lake, West Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake, My Dinh National Stadium).
Along with the high-altitude fireworks display, audiences will enjoy unique, large-scale art programs, combining modern music - dance - performance, creating a vibrant festival space.
The art program Under the Golden Star takes place at 8:00 p.m. on September 2 at My Dinh National Stadium, organized by Thang Long Music and Dance Theater in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Tu Liem Ward.
The art program Immortal Epic takes place at 7:30 p.m. on September 2 at Lac Long Quan Flower Garden Stage, Tay Ho Ward, staged by Hanoi Cheo Theater in coordination with departments, branches, and Tay Ho Ward People's Committee.
The art program "Vang mai khuc khai hoan" (Forever Triumphant Resounding ) is hosted by Hanoi Drama Theater in coordination with the city's art units; combining singing - dancing - music - drama, taking place at 7:30 p.m. on September 2 at Van Quan Lake, Ha Dong Ward.
The Hanoi Traditional and Creative Space Exhibition 2025 not only introduces the quintessence of the capital, but also creates a space for interaction, entertainment and learning, open for free from 9am to 10pm from August 28 to September 5 at the East Yard, National Exhibition Center, Truong Sa Street, Dong Anh Commune.
The entertainment program, talk show, and game industry exchange were scripted and directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information), and the Department of Performing Arts, taking place on September 2 at the square stage of Block A, National Exhibition Center.

Ho Chi Minh City will organize a special art program that will be connected and broadcast live at 7:30 p.m. on September 2 on HTV9 channel and the city's media infrastructure. On the evening of September 2, Ho Chi Minh City will organize a 15-minute fireworks display, from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m., at three high-altitude fireworks display locations: the Saigon River tunnel entrance (An Khanh Ward), the New City Center area (Binh Duong Ward), and the central square of Bai Sau (Vung Tau Ward).
In addition, there is a low-altitude fireworks display at Dam Sen Cultural Park (Binh Thoi Ward).
