Cold highlands and mountains

According to the forecast of Lao Cai Province's Hydrometeorological Station, tonight and tomorrow (May 2), localities in the province will be cloudy with scattered rain, showers and thunderstorms, and cold in highlands and mountains.

Tonight and tomorrow, due to the influence of the low pressure trough compressed by the continental high pressure in the North, combined with the high-altitude wind convergence zone, the weather in localities in the province will be: Cloudy, with rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms, Southeast wind level 2, cold in highlands and high mountains.

Specific weather forecast for localities in the province is as follows:

Low mountainous areas (including districts: Bao Yen, Bao Thang, Van Ban and some lowland communes of Bat Xat and Muong Khuong districts) : Cloudy, with scattered rain, showers and thunderstorms, less cloudy in the afternoon, sunny, Southeast wind level 2, temperature from 24 to 33 ⁰ C, average humidity above 75%.

High mountainous areas (including districts: Bat Xat, Muong Khuong, Si Ma Cai ) : Cloudy, with rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms, light wind, cold at night and early morning, temperature from 18 to 25 ⁰ C, average humidity above 80%.

Lao Cai City: Cloudy, sometimes rain, showers and thunderstorms at night and morning, less cloudy in the afternoon, sunny. Southeast wind level 2, temperature from 24 to 33 ⁰ C, average humidity above 75%.

Sa Pa tourist area: Cloudy, sometimes rainy, showers and thunderstorms, Southeast wind level 2, cold at night and early morning, temperature from 16 to 21 ⁰ C, average humidity above 80%.

Bac Ha tourist area : Cloudy, sometimes rainy, showers and thunderstorms, light wind, cold at night and early morning, temperature from 18 to 25 ⁰ C, average humidity above 80%.
