Gia Lam Commune:

With the theme "Connecting Excellence - Entrepreneurs Reaching Further and Shining Brightly," the Gia Lam Business Association aims to affirm that entrepreneurs are not only those who manage businesses and create economic value, but also those who carry the mission of serving society, connecting communities, and spreading the cultural, spiritual, and intellectual values of the nation.

Currently, the Gia Lam Business Association has over 100 member businesses operating in various fields: industry - handicrafts, construction, transportation, agriculture , trade, business, services, etc. By 2025, the total revenue of member businesses is expected to reach approximately 2,000 billion VND; contribute about 100 billion VND to the state budget; and create stable jobs for thousands of workers, with an income of 8-9 million VND/person/month.

Many member businesses have risen to establish their brands, develop products that meet OCOP standards and are recognized as high-quality Vietnamese goods, and are gradually bringing Gia Lam products to domestic and international markets.
Through forums, conferences, and thematic seminars, the Association has created effective networking opportunities and expanded markets for its member businesses. Notable examples include: the trade promotion and investment networking program between the Hanoi City Business Association and the Gia Lam Business Association; and trade promotion and exchange trips to other provinces and cities.

At the same time, the Association also implemented a series of humanitarian welfare programs: supporting the construction of solidarity houses; awarding hundreds of scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties on the occasion of the new school year opening in 4 communes: Gia Lam, Phu Dong, Thuan An, and Bat Trang, with a total cost of 60 million VND; giving thousands of gifts to policy beneficiary families, disadvantaged families, and child patients being treated at Gia Lam General Hospital on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival and Lunar New Year; promptly supporting people affected by natural disasters and floods in Nghe An province with a total amount of 170 million VND; supporting the construction of many welfare projects, contributing to the implementation of the National Target Program on building new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model rural areas... Through these, it contributes to spreading the positive image of Gia Lam entrepreneurs in the new era: "Courage in business - compassion in action".

The companionship, support, and facilitation from local leaders, authorities, and functional departments have been and continue to help the business community in Gia Lam develop.

Looking ahead, the Gia Lam Business Association has set new goals: developing membership in both quantity and quality; promoting the application of science and technology and comprehensive digital transformation in business management and production; expanding international trade connections, integrating Gia Lam products more deeply into the global value chain; continuing to spread the spirit of sharing and working together for a prosperous and civilized community; continuing the journey of innovation, accompanying the Capital and the country, entering a new era, and creating a prosperous, civilized, and modern future.
