Immediately after the establishment decision, the People's Committee of Kien Xuong commune promptly stabilized its organization, reassigned staff, arranged facilities, and clearly assigned tasks. Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy, Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune, stated: The People's Committee has finalized its working regulations, specifically assigning tasks to each department, ensuring the principle of clear responsibilities and accountability. The reuse of the former Kien Xuong District Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee headquarters provides the commune with good infrastructure, making it convenient for citizens to conduct transactions. The offices are scientifically arranged and equipped with modern machinery and equipment. The internal network and data management software are synchronously established, meeting the requirements for efficient and timely work processing. The commune's Public Administrative Service Center has been invested in and its personnel strengthened, becoming the central point for receiving and processing administrative procedures for citizens and businesses. The public posting of procedures, processing times, and responsible personnel contributes to increased transparency and service quality.
Ms. Luu Thi Thanh Mai, Vice Chairwoman of the Commune People's Committee and Director of the Commune Public Administrative Service Center, said: "Every day, the Center receives more than 100 applications. The workload is large, but we always strive to be a government that serves the people. Our staff are trained in professional conduct, communication skills, and the ability to handle work quickly and in accordance with regulations." Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, a local resident, shared: "At first, I was worried that the new commune, with its large area, would be difficult to manage." But today, when I went to get my grandchild's birth certificate, I found the staff to be quick, friendly, and I didn't experience any hassle.
Kien Xuong commune is located in the central part of the region, with convenient transportation and a tradition of developing industry and commerce. Currently, the commune has two industrial clusters (ICs), Trung Ne and Binh Minh, which are well-planned and attracting many businesses to invest in production and trade.
At Binh Minh Industrial Park, Thuan Cuong General Trading Company Limited, the infrastructure investor, is urgently implementing phase 1 of the project. Mr. Luong Van Thuan, the company director, said: "As soon as we have a cleared site, we mobilize manpower and machinery to implement the project, prioritizing investment in essential items such as roads, drainage, and a centralized wastewater treatment plant to ensure infrastructure for production. Our goal for 2025 is to complete 8 main internal roads and attract at least 2 secondary investors to build factories. Completing the infrastructure will not only expand production space and create local jobs, but also contribute to promoting industry and trade in the commune and the surrounding area."
At the Trung Ne Industrial Cluster, the commune has completed the land acquisition of 25 hectares in phase 1, creating a clean land fund ready for investors. This signals that Kien Xuong's industrial potential is being realized, contributing to making the commune an attractive destination for investors. Besides industry, the commune also has a vibrant traditional market system and a diverse network of services, catering to daily life and trade needs. Transportation infrastructure is being significantly improved. In particular, the CT.08 Ninh Binh - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh expressway, passing through the commune, promises to create a boost for economic development and urbanization in the coming time. Land clearance work is currently being implemented decisively, in accordance with regulations and on schedule.
Alongside economic development, Kien Xuong commune pays special attention to the fields of culture, education , health, and social welfare. Simultaneously, administrative reform and digital transformation are being actively promoted by the commune, aiming to build an e-government and digital government in the near future.
