Building a strong Party starts from the grassroots level.

One of the 12 key development orientations for the 2026-2030 period emphasized by the Central Committee is strengthening the comprehensive building and rectification of a clean and strong Party.

The Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress was conducted under the motto of Unity-Democracy-Discipline-Creativity-Development.

In this context, continuing to strengthen grassroots Party organizations and improving the quality of Party members is considered a fundamental solution for building a strong Party from the branch level.

In accordance with the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and combining it with effective solutions and experiences, the Party committees and organizations at all levels in Thai Nguyen province are focusing on strengthening the recruitment and improving the quality of new Party members.

During the past term, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee has made a significant mark in Party building with tangible results. By 2025, the province will have over 140,500 Party members, with the annual recruitment rate consistently exceeding 3%, higher than the target set in the Resolution. In 2025 alone, through comprehensive and decisive measures, the province has already recruited 4,285 new Party members.

These results demonstrate the proactive and creative approach of grassroots Party committees. For example, the Phu Binh commune Party committee promptly implemented directives from higher levels with a comprehensive approach, achieving 104% of its target for Party membership recruitment. In schools, the Phu Binh High School Party committee assigned Party members who are teachers to directly develop educational plans, assisting outstanding students in their early training, fostering ideals, a sense of striving, and creativity. The school's Party branch successfully recruited 14 outstanding student Party members, becoming a shining example of Party development in the locality. In the mountainous Van Lang commune, the commune Party committee focused on leveraging the role of influential individuals in 19 villages to propagate and mobilize the masses towards the Party. These core individuals significantly contributed to the commune Party committee's recruitment of 23 outstanding individuals in 2025, achieving 100% of its target.

Adhering closely to the core requirements of the 14th National Congress Resolution on building the Party on ethics, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee has determined that the work of developing Party members should not stop at numbers but must strongly shift its focus to improving the actual quality. According to the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, in the period 2025-2030, to improve the effectiveness of recruitment, political and ideological propaganda and education work needs to be strongly reformed, especially for the younger generation.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has assigned specific targets to 92 commune and ward Party committees and affiliated units; requiring them to develop quarterly implementation plans, clearly assigning responsibilities to each Party committee member; avoiding the situation of assigning tasks or chasing after targets in a superficial manner.

Accordingly, Party committees and branches must regularly focus on cultivating and enhancing awareness and motivation for striving to join the Party, while also consistently paying attention to, assisting, encouraging, and promoting the active and proactive participation of Party members in self-study and self-improvement. Each Party member, especially Party committee members and leaders, must truly be a role model in terms of work capacity, moral character, lifestyle, and dedication to their responsibilities to the collective and the people.

Party committees and branches in Thai Nguyen shared practical experiences focusing on three breakthrough solutions: Firstly, enhancing the self-renewal capacity of party members, linking the assessment of moral character with specific work performance; secondly, tightening discipline and control right from the branch level, ensuring each branch is a "four-good" collective, subject to the supervision of the organization and the people; and thirdly, strictly implementing the screening and expulsion from the Party of individuals who no longer meet the qualifications, or who have degenerated in ideology, morality, and lifestyle.

The Provincial Party Committee directed Party committees at all levels to focus on upholding the responsibility of leaders, proactively conducting self-inspection and internal supervision. The head of the Party committee must bear primary responsibility for building a working environment where good things are protected and encouraged, and bad things are prevented and pushed back.

The assignment of tasks, coupled with clear mechanisms for inspection and handling, will ensure that the development of Party members is not only sufficient in quantity but also truly strong in quality, worthy of being the vanguard force, creating a solid foundation to promote the excellent achievement of the goals set in the new revolutionary period.
