Therefore, legal education in schools is both an essential requirement and a long-term strategic task. This task is even more important in the context of rapid technological development, where cyberspace has become a second "living environment" for young people. Issues such as cybersecurity, personal data protection, and online behavior on social media create an urgent need to enhance young people's legal knowledge. Without adequate preparation, they are easily vulnerable to becoming victims or unintentionally violating the law.

With a full and profound understanding of the position and role of legal education in schools, the education sector has focused on directing and implementing this work over the years; thereby creating positive changes in both awareness and actions among cadres, teachers, and students.

The Ministry of Education and Training issues an annual plan for disseminating and educating the public on legal matters in the education sector; this includes compiling and printing materials; and providing training and professional development in legal knowledge and skills for those involved in legal dissemination and education, as well as for teaching staff.

In localities, activities to disseminate and educate about the law have become well-established. The content, methods, and forms of legal education have been innovated, becoming richer, more diverse, and more effective.

Besides integrating legal education into academic subjects, many schools organize mock trials, forums, seminars, and law clubs. At higher education institutions, the Student Civic Education Week has become an important channel for disseminating new regulations and guiding students' behavior. Teachers and presenters receive training; assessment and evaluation activities are gradually shifting towards developing competencies.

Besides the achievements, it is necessary to frankly acknowledge the limitations and shortcomings that still exist. In some places, the implementation of legal dissemination and education has not truly gone into depth; there are still instances of formalism, focusing on launching campaigns and slogans, lacking sustainability.

The teaching methods are slow to innovate; there is a lack of experiential activities, case studies, debates, and practical simulations... This makes legal lessons not truly engaging, failing to stimulate students' desire to learn independently and their proactive awareness of complying with the law.

Innovating the content, methods, and approaches in disseminating and educating about the law remains a crucial issue. This includes the need to promptly update new regulations, especially in areas directly related to students, such as traffic safety, cybersecurity, prevention of violence and abuse, and citizens' rights and responsibilities in the digital environment.

The teaching methods must be learner-centered, diverse, and enriching, creating practical experiences to enhance effectiveness. Investing in the staff is crucial through regular training in professional expertise, pedagogical skills, and technology usage skills. Those involved in disseminating and educating about the law must not only be proficient in their field but also understand practical situations and be able to inspire, not just transmit information.

In particular, the coordination mechanism between schools, families, and society in legal education must be emphasized. Without the support, guidance, and supervision from families, and the active involvement of organizations, associations, and local authorities, the efforts of schools will hardly achieve the desired results. Legal education cannot be the sole responsibility of the education sector; it requires the joint efforts of the entire society.
