(PLVN) - While traveling on the Mai Son - National Highway 45 expressway, a 45-seat passenger bus suddenly caught fire and burst into flames, leaving only a charred frame under the intense heat.

According to initial information, the bus fire occurred at approximately 12:20 PM on June 2nd, on the Mai Son - National Highway 45 expressway, in the Ha Trung district of Thanh Hoa province.

At that time, the passenger bus (a 45-seat sleeper bus) with a Nghe An license plate was traveling from Thanh Hoa to Hanoi when, upon reaching Km307 + 400 (near the intersection in Ha Linh town, Ha Trung district), a fire suddenly broke out near the rear of the vehicle.

Due to the intense heat, the fire quickly spread, engulfing the entire car. Fortunately, the car managed to pull over to the side of the road in time, and all passengers got out safely.

Immediately after receiving the report, the 114 Center, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Thanh Hoa province mobilized the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 3, dispatching one fire truck and officers and soldiers to the scene.

Fortunately, there were no casualties, but the passenger bus was almost completely burned.
