Truck bursts into flames on Phan Thiet highway.

The car fire occurred at approximately 8:20 AM on August 20th on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway, about 2 km from the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway interchange (in Song Nhan commune, Cam My district, Dong Nai province).

According to initial information, at the time of the incident, the truck with license plate 50H - 168.95 was traveling on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway in the direction of Binh Thuan - Dong Nai when, upon reaching the aforementioned section of road, the front of the truck suddenly caught fire. The flames then intensified and engulfed the entire front of the vehicle.

Upon receiving the report, the Traffic Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ) called the fire department to extinguish the fire; at the same time, they organized patrols and regulated traffic to ensure safety and prevent traffic congestion in the area.

The Traffic Police Department is handling the case.

According to observations at the scene, the truck sustained heavy damage to its front end, but there were no casualties or damage to the cargo (the truck was not carrying any goods at the time of the fire).

The truck fire on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway is currently being investigated by the Cam My District Police in coordination with the Traffic Police Department.
