Xiaomi has confirmed its plans for a high-end tablet computer later this month. The Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro will feature the company's XRing O1 chipset, and its design and key specifications have also been revealed.
Following the release of the Pad 7 Ultra in China last month, Xiaomi has confirmed plans to add another high-end tablet. This new tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, is expected to launch this month and will be another device equipped with the company's proprietary XRing O1 chipset.

However, as previously stated, the Pad 7S Pro will be positioned below the Pad 7 Ultra but above the Pad 7 Pro that launched earlier this year.
Specifications of Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro
The Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro boasts a 12.5-inch LCD screen with slim bezels on all four sides, subtly rounded corners, and a body thickness of only 5.8 mm. The entire body utilizes a unibody metal design, giving it a premium and sturdy appearance.

Inside, the device is equipped with a massive 10,160 mAh battery, supporting 120W fast charging, ensuring long usage time and extremely fast recharging capabilities.
The device will run HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15, offering a PC-like software experience optimized for work and multitasking. It's also touted as having "PC-level" software and a floating keyboard, although it's unclear what the company means by that.
The Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro supports the Xiaomi Pen stylus and comes with a new floating keyboard, integrated high-precision metal hinge, and a large trackpad, transforming the device into an experience that closely resembles a true laptop.

The floating keyboard design is similar to Apple's Magic Keyboard.
The tablet will come with a matching magnetic protective keyboard that can be folded to act as a stand, making it easy for users to view content and type. The design of this keyboard immediately reminds users of Apple's Magic Keyboard.
Notably, this new tablet also supports car mount attachment, something the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra lacks, allowing it to fully utilize the Xring O1 platform in mobile situations.
According to informed sources, the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro may launch alongside the Redmi K80 Ultra and Redmi K Pad at Xiaomi's major event taking place at the end of June in China.
