Analyzing the specific export potential of Vietnamese goods to Germany, the Vietnamese Trade Office in Germany stated that the opportunity to bring Vietnamese goods into Germany remains high. German consumers are willing to use high-quality, competitively priced products from developing countries.
In addition, the number of Asians in general, and Vietnamese in particular, living, working, and studying in Germany has been increasing in recent years. These consumers tend to use more Asian products, including those from Vietnam.
“ German consumers are also becoming increasingly open to using Asian products in general and from Vietnam in particular. They are willing to use imported products from developing countries if those products have clear origins, good quality, and competitive prices. Meanwhile, Vietnam has many strong products that German consumers have high or increasing demand for, such as: wood products, clothing, footwear, coffee, tropical fruits and vegetables… ”, the Vietnamese Trade Office in Germany reported.
