Rice exports in the first 10 months reached $3.7 billion.

(GLO) - According to the latest data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in the first 10 months of 2025, Vietnam exported 7.2 million tons of rice, earning 3.7 billion USD, a decrease of 6.5% in quantity and nearly 23.8% in value compared to the same period in 2024.

The average export price of rice in the first 10 months reached 511 USD/ton, a decrease of 18.5% compared to the same period last year. In October 2025 alone, the volume of rice exports reached 421.1 thousand tons, with a value of 216.9 million USD.

The Philippines remains Vietnam's largest rice market with a 41.4% market share, followed by Ghana (12.3%) and Ivory Coast (11.3%). Compared to the same period in 2024, exports to the Philippines decreased by 27.1%, while exports to Ghana increased by 47.3% and to Ivory Coast by 94.5%.

Among the top 15 export markets, Bangladesh saw the strongest increase at 155 times, while Malaysia experienced a decrease of 53.3%.
