Import and export in 9 months reached over 23 billion USD

According to data from Phu Tho Customs Branch, in September, the total export value of goods of the province was estimated at nearly 1.7 billion USD, up 48.1% over the same period last year; total import value also grew strongly at 1.4 billion USD, equivalent to 87.6% over the same period.

In the first 9 months of 2024, the province's total export turnover reached over 11.8 billion USD, an increase of 48.7% over the same period; imports reached 11.2 billion USD, an increase of 86.4%, bringing the province's total import-export turnover in the first 9 months to over 23 billion USD, continuing to be in the group of 10 provinces with large contributions to the country's import and export, while showing a strong and sustainable recovery of production and business activities in the province.
