Matchday 2 of La Liga 2025/26 witnessed a dramatic game as Barca traveled to Levante's stadium. Right after the opening whistle, Hansi Flick's team took control of the ball and pressed their opponents.
However, Levante's tight defensive play and reliance on counter-attacks made it difficult for Barca to get close to Cunat's goal.

In the 15th minute, a surprise occurred when Romero broke through and skillfully controlled the ball inside the penalty area, opening the scoring for Levante. Having conceded, Barcelona were forced to push forward in search of an equalizer, but Torres' best chance was denied by the crossbar.
As the first half drew to a close, Balde handled the ball in the penalty area. VAR intervened, and the referee pointed to the penalty spot. Morales didn't miss, giving Levante a 2-0 lead and a huge advantage after the first 45 minutes.
In the second half, Barcelona showed a fierce fighting spirit. In the 49th minute, Pedri unleashed a beautiful long-range shot to reduce the deficit. Just three minutes later, Torres scored with a quick finish from a difficult position, leveling the score at 2-2 and bringing the game back to square one.

In the following minutes, Barca continued to maintain tremendous pressure, but Levante's defense held firm. Just when it seemed the match would end in a draw, in the 90+1 minute, Yamal crossed the ball into the box and Elgezabal, in an attempt to clear it, inadvertently headed it into his own net.
This lucky but valuable goal helped Barcelona come from behind to win 3-2, securing three dramatic points and boosting their confidence for the road ahead.
