
Mr. Nguyen Van Huong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Chau commune, said: To realize the goal of making trade, services, and the private economy a key sector, the People's Committee of the commune always accompanies and creates favorable conditions for organizations and households to boldly invest, expand their scale, and diversify their business sectors. We are promoting administrative procedure reform, supporting people in accessing preferential loan sources, contributing to the stable development of trade along National Highway 6, and improving the lives of the people.
Along the national highways and main roads of Yen Chau commune, a variety of services and shops cater well to the needs of the people. The commune has 4 traditional markets and 57 stalls selling various goods such as gas stations, food and beverage businesses, fashion items, building materials, and agricultural supplies. In addition, the commune has 32 cooperatives and cooperative groups specializing in agricultural production and service businesses, contributing to the promotion of trade growth.
Thanks to an increasingly stable business environment, many business households have confidently invested and expanded their operations. Mr. Vu Manh Dung, owner of Minh Trinh Electrical and Air Conditioning Center in Sub-district 1, shared: "Our products are imported from reputable suppliers with clear origins and sources. We hope that all levels and sectors will continue to pay attention, promote administrative procedure reforms, and create conditions for accessing preferential capital sources so that business households can confidently invest and expand their production and business scale."

In the sub-districts, the buying and selling of goods is vibrant, meeting the increasing consumer demand of the people. Many stores have proactively expanded their scale, diversified their product range, and prioritized selling high-quality Vietnamese goods. Ms. Vu Thi Nga , owner of Nga Chau grocery store in Sub-district 3, said: "As people's living standards improve and their shopping needs increase, my family has expanded the store and imported more essential goods. The store always prioritizes reputation and strictly controls the origin of products to ensure that people can shop with peace of mind."
To date, the commune has developed a variety of business models such as agricultural product purchasing and processing, consumer goods trading, transportation services, automobile and motorbike repair, accommodation, and tourism. These commercial and service establishments provide regular employment for hundreds of local workers with incomes ranging from 7-10 million VND per person per month. In the first six months of 2026, total budget revenue in the commune is estimated to reach over 112 billion VND, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development investment.
Along with encouraging the development of trade and services, Yen Chau commune also focuses on building a safe and transparent business environment. The locality regularly coordinates with functional forces to organize propaganda and training on food safety and hygiene, fire prevention and control; strengthens inspection of food production, business and processing activities, promptly detects and handles acts of smuggling, trade fraud, and trading in counterfeit and substandard goods.
The strong development of the trade and service sectors is contributing to changing the face of Yen Chau commune after the merger. With the goal of increasing per capita income to over 100 million VND/person/year by 2026, the locality continues to implement comprehensive solutions regarding administrative procedure reform, support for access to capital, infrastructure investment, and strengthening market management, creating an important foundation for continued local economic growth.
