Patriotism in the unique way of young people.

Việt NamViệt Nam02/05/2025

During those historic days of April, young people on social media expressed their love for their country in various ways. This included sharing videos to show their patriotism, creating photo shoots with the red flag and yellow star, or changing their profile pictures to show support, celebrate, and remind themselves and their friends of the sacrifices made by previous generations to achieve the peace we enjoy today… Young people are finding many ways to spread their love for their country in their daily lives.

These days, as the whole country commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, two police officers from Ha Giang province, Chu Anh Son and Pham Thanh Hang, feel deeply moved and proud. As young people, Son and Hang understand even more profoundly the value of peace – something that seems obvious today but was bought with the blood and sacrifices of millions before them.

Two police officers from Ha Giang province, Chu Anh Son and Pham Thanh Hang, felt deeply moved and proud.

Therefore, Son and Hang came up with the idea together, choosing the costumes and locations to create a photo series with the theme of police officers always ready to serve the Fatherland, right on the great holiday of April 30th.

With this photo series, Son and Hang not only want to express their own patriotism but also want to spread gratitude to young people towards the previous generations who brought peace to the country.

At the Km0 area , the shops have also added stamps depicting the victory of April 30th and walls decorated with flowers in the shape of the letter S.

Meanwhile, in the KmO area, besides the trend of stamping check-in photos at famous tourist spots, on April 30th, many shops also added stamps depicting the victory of April 30th and walls of flowers in the shape of the letter S for tourists to take photos. This helps young people visiting Ha Giang feel even more love for their homeland.

It can be seen that love comes naturally from the feelings of each person's heart. Love for one's country is also like that; it comes most naturally and is nurtured by the education of parents and teachers, through books, music, poetry, and from each person's own experiences on the land they live on. Today's youth constantly strive to be self-aware, learn, absorb positive new things, and daily cultivate their love for their country and a deep sense of pride when mentioning the name Vietnam.
