These days, the atmosphere in Dong Nai is becoming more lively as young men selected for military service prepare to leave for their enlistment. This year is special because many twins and brothers are enlisting together.

Shared ideals

In Bien Hoa City, twins Hoang The Anh and Hoang Hai Anh (born in 2004, Trang Dai Ward) are eagerly anticipating the start of a new chapter in their lives.

The Anh said that ever since they were children, both brothers dreamed of wearing the green uniform of a soldier. With encouragement from their parents, this year, after studying refrigeration and air conditioning repair, the two brothers volunteered to enlist in the army.

"We aspire to train, challenge ourselves, and contribute our youthful energy to the country," said The Anh.

Hai Anh also excitedly shared that she is very proud to be serving in the military alongside her brother. This is an opportunity for them to bond and support each other throughout the training process.

In Long Khanh City, the Military Service Council also received many applications from young people volunteering to enlist. Notably, two brothers, Vo Anh Vu (born in 2005) and Vo Anh Dung (born in 2006), residing in Bao Vinh Ward, Long Khanh City, both passed the recruitment examination and are eligible for military service.

According to the Military Service Law, one of the two brothers could be granted a temporary deferment. However, driven by patriotism and a desire to contribute, Vu and Dung sought permission from their family and volunteered to fulfill this sacred duty together.

Unable to hide his joy, young Anh Vu said that as soon as he received his conscription order, he quickly arranged his work and prepared himself to leave.

"This is an opportunity for me to train, grow, and contribute my youthful energy to the country," Vu shared.

Sharing the same sentiment as his brother, Anh Dung said he was proud of his decision to volunteer for military service.

"I want to wear the military uniform, train myself, and fulfill my civic duty," Dung expressed.

The family is proud, and the local community trusts them.

Not only the new recruits but also their families and relatives are filled with joy and pride as they witness their children ready to embark on their sacred duty.
