Eating less protein leads to faster muscle loss, consuming foods rich in sugar, drinking a lot of alcohol increases inflammation and aging.
Free radicals promote the aging process of the body. When free radicals are more and more, oxidative stress increases, causing cells to quickly age and die, leading to aging. Inflammation also accelerates the aging process. Wrong eating habits also contribute to making you age faster.
Not eating enough protein
Protein is a nutrient that helps the body recover and build muscle. Adults need a minimum of 0,8 g of protein per kilogram of body weight. Athletes, weightlifters, regular exercisers may need more.
Muscle mass decreases with age, causing injury and increasing the risk of chronic disease. Eating more protein reduces muscle loss, increases metabolism, slows down aging.
Eat a lot of sugar
Sugar promotes an unhealthy microbiome and causes inflammation, accelerating the aging process. Researchers from Mount Sinai School of Medicine (USA) found that when you cut out foods rich in sugar, processed, fried, etc., the signs of inflammation in the body will decrease.

Not enough fiber
Some fiber contains beneficial bacteria that can be fermented in the large intestine. They create an acidic environment that is beneficial for the lining of the large intestine, reducing harmful bacteria. Fiber helps the digestive system move more easily by keeping bowel movements regular. The recommended amount of fiber per day is 30-38 g for men and 25 g for women, for every 1.000 calories eaten, there should be about 14 g of fiber.
Don't eat a lot of orange foods
Sweet potatoes, carrots, and squash contain beta carotene (a precursor of vitamin A). Eating foods with beta carotene helps skin better elasticity, improves aging, prevents the effects of UV rays. Wrinkles, age spots also reduce the rate of formation and growth.
Avoid all fat
Eating too much saturated fat increases bad cholesterol, which increases the risk of heart disease. However, not all fat should be eliminated from the diet.
Fat contributes to keeping warm, providing energy, supporting cell growth, and helping the body absorb certain nutrients. Omega-3s (DHA, EPA) limit inflammation, benefit the brain. This fat also increases the level of good cholesterol, reduces the accumulation of plaque in the arteries, prevents the risk of heart attack and stroke.
Drink a lot of wine and beer
Alcohol abuse increases inflammation, making you age faster. Alcohol in contact with the mouth and throat can damage the oral mucosa and cause irritation. Alcohol makes the heart beat faster than normal about 15 beats per minute. The heart works harder, reducing its contractile function, which can easily lead to heart disease.
