729 surplus land and property assets have been reorganized and processed.

TPO - Following the administrative reorganization, Thai Nguyen province has 765 properties (houses and land) that are subject to review and processing. As of June 17th, 729 properties have been processed, and the remaining 36 are still being reorganized.

On the afternoon of June 18th, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province held a conference to assess the situation regarding the handling and exploitation of surplus land and buildings following the reorganization of administrative units.

According to the report, following the administrative reorganization, the entire province has 765 properties (houses and land) that need to be reviewed and processed. As of June 17th, 729 properties have been processed and are being utilized (reaching 95.3%), while 36 properties are still undergoing the reorganization process.

Of the 765 land and property assets to be processed, 330 have been transferred to the People's Committees of communes and wards for management (319 have completed the restructuring); 87 have been transferred to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center (62 have completed processing and exploitation). Some surplus land and property assets belonging to central government agencies and local units are currently being considered for reception, management, and exploitation by relevant sectors and localities.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Linh, Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province, directed relevant agencies and units to expedite the handling of remaining facilities; at the same time, complete the dossiers and develop effective exploitation plans to avoid wasting public assets.

Mr. Nguyen Linh also requested that communes and wards focus on resolving outstanding issues related to planning, rental prices, and land use rights auctions, and promptly receive and hand over land and property transferred by central government agencies.
