In the first months of 2025, Vinh Long set out key tasks and solutions to improve the business environment, strengthen confidence, and create more momentum for businesses to overcome difficulties and continue to recover and develop.

At the same time, organize meetings and dialogues with businesses, cooperatives, and household businesses; promptly identify difficulties and proactively resolve emerging problems faced by businesses and cooperatives at the grassroots level.

In the first quarter, the province issued certificates of registration for the establishment of 89 new businesses with a total registered capital of VND 361.689 billion, and 17 certificates of establishment and operation of branches, achieving 18.92% of the annual plan.

Compared to the same period in 2024, the number of newly established businesses increased by 3.5%. In addition, new investment policies/investment registration certificates were granted for 7 projects (5 domestic projects, 2 FDI projects) with a total registered capital equivalent to VND 951 billion and USD 680,000; there were also 2 expansion projects under FDI projects with an additional registered capital of USD 13.5 million.
