ABBANK's General Shareholders' Meeting approved the 2025 business plan with financial targets including: pre-tax profit reaching VND 1,800 billion, a 131% increase compared to 2024; total assets reaching VND 200,000 billion, a 13% increase compared to 2024; outstanding loans reaching VND 127,810 billion, a 16% increase compared to 2024 (adjusted according to the credit growth management mechanism from the State Bank of Vietnam)...
In addition, continue to strictly control the non-performing loan ratio, maintaining it below 3% as stipulated by the State Bank of Vietnam in Circular No. 11/2021/TT-NHNN, and strive to reduce the non-performing loan ratio to 2%.
Commenting on ABBANK's 2025 plan, Mr. Dao Manh Khang – Chairman of the Board of Directors – shared: “ABBANK aims for stronger growth in 2025 based on the foundations built over the past years, building on the achievements and decisive transformation actions in 2024. Simultaneously, ABBANK will continue to strengthen its internal capabilities, accelerate digital transformation, and focus on implementing a sustainable development strategy in 2025.”
In 2025, ABBANK focuses on promoting sustainable development through a deep understanding of the micro-market in key areas, while also understanding customer needs to design specialized financial solutions that meet the needs of each segment.
The "customer understanding" strategy contributed to ABBANK's positive business results in 2024, increasing the number of target customers in both the individual customer and SME groups by 7.17% and 4.81% respectively compared to the same period in 2023. In particular, providing convenient financial solutions and continuously improving customer experience with convenient features on the digital banking application helped the volume of transactions on the digital channel record strong growth, with the number of customers transacting increasing by 11.8% and the number of transactions on the digital channel increasing by 70.08% compared to 2023.
Following the successful launch of the digital banking application for corporate customers (ABBANK Business), in December 2024, a completely new digital banking application for individual customers, developed in-house by ABBANK, was completed and received positive feedback. The transition of individual customers to the new digital application platform, completely replacing the current AB Ditizen application, is expected to be completed in Q2 2025.
Within the framework of the General Meeting, ABBANK shareholders also approved the profit distribution plan for 2024, continuing to agree to retain all remaining undistributed profits to supplement capital for implementing strategic plans, creating internal accumulation to increase charter capital in the future...
