AI is changing the way we scout for young football talent.

(HTV) - A Swiss application called Footbao is opening new doors for young football talents. By simply uploading videos of training or matches, users will have their skills analyzed and scored by AI, and will be directly connected with clubs looking for players.

Nick Rappolt, CEO of Footbao, said: "Our platform currently has around 120,000 athletes. We are conducting in-depth assessments of approximately 15,000 of them. There are currently around 35 clubs in Brazil scouting for talent through the app."

This app also helps promote women's football – where many talents are often overlooked.
