The AI ​​practical competition is back, with a first prize of 1 billion VND and a scholarship worth 1 million USD.

Vietnam Television (VTV), the National Data Center (NDC), and the National Data Association (NDA) have launched the second season of the AI ​​Practical Competition in the form of a television game show. Contestants will compete in teams of no more than three people, going through multiple qualifying rounds with increasing levels of practical difficulty in each stage.

Unlike previous models, the central goal for 2026 is to spread public awareness about "clean data" and "AI for the community." The National Data Center will directly support experts and provide in-depth databases to serve the competition and ensure system security.

According to the organizers, while the 2025 season focused on discovering and nurturing artificial intelligence (AI) talent and promoting AI applications, season 2 will be elevated in scale and format, including enhanced training and coaching by mentors in the field of AI from both domestic and international backgrounds.

Previously, Season 1 of the AI ​​Battle Royale competition attracted significant attention on national television channels. The winning team received a prize of 1 billion VND along with a scholarship worth 1 million USD . This prize structure remains unchanged for Season 2.
