Hue cuisine ranked 28th in the world

Culinary experts and international tourists rated Hue cuisine 4.56/5 thanks to the attractiveness of dishes such as beef noodle soup, banh beo, and bot loc.

On February 14, the world- famous culinary website Taste Atlas announced the list of Best Food Cities in the World 2023 to honor the local cuisine of the destinations. Hue ranked 28th in the ranking and Ho Chi Minh City ranked 73rd.

Hue cuisine is rated 4.56/5 points by international experts and diners. The most famous dishes mentioned first include beef noodle soup, tapioca dumplings, mussel rice, grilled spring rolls, sweet soup, banh nam, banh phu the, sour shrimp, and sweet soup.

Ho Chi Minh City is known to international diners for its dishes such as Nam Vang noodles, spring rolls, broken rice, braised offal, coconut-fried snails, and bread.

The Top 100 was announced by Taste Atlas based on nearly 400,000 votes from international experts and diners who scored more than 16,000 cities around the world, based on the criteria: popularity, popularity, local specialties.

The World's Best Food Cities is a ranking that is part of the annual Taste Atlas Awards. Other categories that are mentioned include 100 Best Dishes and 100 Best Cuisines in the World.

In the category of World's Best Cuisines, Vietnam ranked 22nd. In the award for the world's 100 best dishes, banh mi and beef pho were the two representatives of Vietnam honored. Banh mi ranked 14th and beef pho ranked 100th.

Founded in 2015, Taste Atlas connects with 9,000 local restaurants, introduces more than 10,000 dishes to readers, thousands of reviews, research by culinary experts and chefs. The website aims to become a world map of traditional dishes made from local ingredients.
