Regarding the case of three women who suffered marijuana poisoning in Thu Duc City, on December 9th, the Thu Duc City Police are still urgently working to determine the cause and track down those involved to aid in the investigation.

The three people who suffered food poisoning have been identified as Ms. Doan Thi Ph. (38 years old, residing in Thu Duc City), Ms. Phan Thi H. (43 years old, residing in Cu Chi District), and Ms. Phu Thi Kim H. (31 years old, residing in District 4, all in Ho Chi Minh City).

According to police verification, all three worked as cleaning staff. The incident occurred in a house approximately 200 square meters ⁱⁿ size, located in alley 189C Nguyen Van Huong (Thao Dien Ward, Thu Duc City). At the time of the incident, the house was being rented out by the owner to a group of customers for a party or event.

Specifically, on December 7th, a group of tenants held a party and then left. At this time, the building manager hired four female cleaning staff to clean up. While cleaning, three of the four noticed leftover food and drinks on the table, including a type of cookie, and ate it. After eating the cookie, all three experienced symptoms of drowsiness and inability to interact, and were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.

From 1:10 PM to 1:40 PM on the same day (December 7th), Le Van Thinh Hospital successively admitted the three female victims. The victims' families also stated that one hour before the symptoms appeared, all three had eaten a type of cookie-like pastry of unknown origin and from an unknown source.

Doctors examined the patients and conducted urine tests, and the results showed that all three tested positive for marijuana. After receiving emergency treatment, the patients continued to receive treatment at Le Van Thinh Hospital.

Thu Duc City Police, in coordination with Thao Dien Ward Police, examined the scene at the house and discovered approximately 40 balloons, various food and drinks, and a type of pastry resembling a cookie.

The police are currently investigating the case of three women who suffered drug poisoning in Thu Duc City.
