Invitation to attend the International Exhibition on Textiles, Leather and Footwear in Algeria

Under the patronage of the Minister of Industry, CGCOM EVENT will organize the 9th International Textile and Footwear Exhibition in Algeria from April 20-22, 2026 at the Alger International Convention Center, the capital of Algeria.

This year's exhibition promises to create many opportunities for business cooperation and investment with the participation of many countries such as Algeria, Türkiye, China, Tunisia, Russia, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and others.

Companies and professionals intending to develop the textile, footwear, and fashion sectors can meet at the event, with diverse areas of cooperation ranging from raw materials, semi-finished products, machinery, equipment, design, processing, and services to ready-made clothing, fabrics, footwear, leather products, and accessories. Several B2B business-to-business workshops will also be held within the framework of the event.

Algeria is the largest North African country in Africa by area (2.4 million km2), with a population of approximately 47 million people. Its GDP is estimated at over $260 billion (ranking fourth in Africa), and its GDP per capita is projected to be around $5532 in 2025. In 2025, Algeria's exports are expected to reach $49.35 billion and imports approximately $46.05 billion, resulting in a trade surplus of $3.3 billion. Algeria's foreign exchange reserves are projected to reach nearly $70 billion, equivalent to 15.8 months of imports.
