Leaders from the Department of Tourism, the Department of Culture and Sports, and other participating units took part in the cycling event.

This activity is part of the Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2025 (taking place from June 6th to 25th, 2025) to honor the beauty of traditional culture, promote the brand "Hue - The Capital of Ao Dai"; build Hue's brand as a green city of Vietnam, contribute to raising community awareness about environmental protection and preserving cultural heritage values. At the same time, it encourages residents and tourists to join hands in supporting community sports movements, improving health, and striving for a "Green - Clean - Bright" Hue.

At the event, approximately 300 members from various agencies, units, and businesses, dressed in traditional Vietnamese ao dai, cycled through the streets of Hue along the following route: Quoc Hoc Monument - Le Loi Street - Ga Bridge - Bui Thi Xuan Street - Da Vien Bridge - Le Duan Street - Tran Hung Dao Street - Truong Tien Bridge - Le Loi Street - Quoc Hoc Monument.

According to Tran Thi Hoai Tram, Director of the Department of Tourism , the event also aims to celebrate Vietnam Tourism Day on July 9th and is an opportunity for units and businesses operating in the tourism and service sector in Hue city to demonstrate their support and work together to promote local tourism.

The Department of Tourism will also continue to focus on diversifying and improving the quality of distinctive, high-class, and highly competitive tourism products and services. It will exploit and promote festivals and traditional cultural forms to serve the people and develop tourism. This includes focusing on building and promoting the image of destinations and unique tourism products, and building tourism brands such as: "Hue - The characteristic Festival City of Vietnam", "Hue - The culinary capital", "Hue - The capital of Ao Dai"...
