Many meaningful tasks
For the period 2021-2025, the Provincial Youth Union has identified several key tasks and models as focal points in the New Rural Development program to concentrate on directing implementation and replication, such as: participating in the construction of rural infrastructure; building cultural life in rural areas, eliminating outdated customs; organizing cultural, artistic, and sports activities; building and repairing cultural centers and playgrounds for children; repairing and beautifying historical and cultural relics; participating in economic development, transferring advanced technical and technological knowledge in agricultural, forestry, and fisheries production; borrowing capital for production and business development, training, and supporting young people to participate in the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program...
In addition, the Youth Union at all levels has mobilized and encouraged young people to develop the economy through the effective deployment of capital sources, coordinating the organization of training courses on entrepreneurship, connecting product consumption, and introducing jobs. The Youth Union at all levels has focused on maintaining and developing on-site vocational training models; and developing cooperative models in both quantity and quality. Models such as Youth Entrepreneurship Clubs, Youth Economic Clubs, and cooperatives/associations such as "Youth Economic Development" and "Youth Helping Each Other Develop Economically" have proven effective.

Affirming the power of today's youth
Recognizing the crucial role of digital transformation in agricultural and rural development and the construction of new rural areas, the youth throughout the province have proactively implemented many practical activities. Notable examples include advising on and implementing the digitization of historical relics in the province; establishing volunteer teams to assist people in handling online administrative procedures; supporting the installation of free Wi-Fi hotspots in public places and cultural centers to serve the information, learning, and entertainment needs of the people; and proactively connecting and organizing e-commerce markets on social media platforms to promote and sell local products.
In Nat Son commune, local youth union members recently supported local people in selling Son Thuy longan through a new and unique online distribution channel: the "Electronic Market." Ms. Bui Thi Thanh Thuy, Secretary of the commune's Youth Union, stated: "The 'Electronic Market' model has received widespread participation from youth union members and positive responses from farmers and online customers. In the future, the commune's Youth Union will continue to expand this model to support farmers in promoting local agricultural products, contributing to increasing the economic value of OCOP products and implementing the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term on developing green technology and applying digital technology ."
Joining hands to protect the environment and respond to climate change has also been identified as a key task of the Youth Union in building new rural areas. The Provincial Youth Union has directed all levels of the Youth Union to promote the movement "Youth joining hands to protect the environment and respond to climate change"; "Green Sunday," environmental sanitation campaigns, tree planting... with the enthusiastic participation of Youth Union members. Many programs, campaigns, and models have been replicated such as: Flowering lampposts, mural roads, youth flower roads; organizing youth volunteer teams to participate in environmental protection and maintaining urban order... All levels of the Youth Union have also focused on building, developing, and promoting youth shock teams to participate in disaster prevention and control, disease prevention, and overcoming the consequences of storms and floods... From there, affirming the prominent mark of "the green uniform" in the socio-economic development of the locality.
From 2021 to the present, Youth Unions at all levels throughout the province have implemented over 6,300 youth projects and activities; many of which, in the context of building new rural areas, have been effectively implemented, significantly contributing to accelerating the progress of new rural area construction in localities. Notable examples include: constructing over 300km of "Lighting up rural roads"; 45km of "Model new rural roads"; repairing, upgrading, and building more than 270km of rural roads; coordinating the construction of 11 rural bridges; and building 486 playgrounds for children and teenagers...
