Apple is about to set a record with iPhone 17

According to CNBC , Apple has just reported its fiscal fourth quarter revenue, which ended on September 27, with results that surpassed analysts' expectations. CEO Tim Cook also confidently predicted that the next quarter will be "the best in history," with total revenue increasing 10-12% (reaching about 137.97 billion USD ), far exceeding Wall Street's expectations.

Specifically, iPhone sales were slightly lower than consensus estimates, as just over a week of iPhone 17 sales were recorded this quarter. However, Apple still beat expectations thanks to strong growth in services and Mac sales.

Of that, the services segment, which includes iCloud, Apple Music, App Store fees, Google search licenses and AppleCare warranties, increased 15% to $28.75 billion .

CEO Tim Cook stressed that most of the components in this segment are accelerating. This is also the most important business segment for investors at Apple, as it brings recurring revenue with higher profit margins than the hardware segment.

Mac sales also recorded a strong growth of up to 13%, bringing in $8.72 billion for Apple. Mr. Cook said this increase was thanks to strong sales of MacBook Air after being upgraded with M4 chip last March, along with a $100 price cut.

Regarding the forecast for the next quarter, ending in December, the Apple CEO said it will be the "best ever in the company's history".

Accordingly, Apple expects the company's total revenue to grow 10-12% compared to the same period last year. This 11% growth will bring the next quarter's revenue to the milestone of 137.97 billion USD , far exceeding LSEG's consensus estimate of 132.31 billion USD .

According to Mr. Cook, this confidence comes from the exceedingly good reception of the iPhone 17 series, while revealing that traffic to the product at stores has increased significantly compared to 2025.

In terms of future plans, Apple is scheduled to release a new version of Siri in 2026 and will have additional partnerships, similar to the agreement to integrate ChatGPT into Apple Intelligence in the future.
