According to CNBC , Apple just reported its fourth-quarter fiscal earnings, ending September 27th, with results far exceeding analysts' expectations. CEO Tim Cook confidently predicted the next quarter would be "the best in history," with total revenue increasing by 10-12% (reaching approximately $137.97 billion ), far surpassing Wall Street's expectations.

Specifically, iPhone sales were slightly lower than consensus estimates, due to only a little over a week of iPhone 17 sales being recorded this quarter. However, Apple still exceeded expectations thanks to strong growth in its services segment and Mac sales.

Of that, the services segment, including iCloud, Apple Music, App Store fees, Google's search license, and AppleCare warranty, increased 15% to $28.75 billion .

CEO Tim Cook emphasized that most components within this segment are accelerating. This is also the most important business segment for investors at Apple, as it generates recurring revenue with higher profit margins than the hardware segment.

Mac sales also saw strong growth of 13%, bringing in $8.72 billion for Apple. Cook attributed this increase to strong sales of the MacBook Air after its upgrade with the M4 chip last March, coupled with a $100 price reduction.

Regarding the forecast for the next quarter, ending in December, Apple's CEO stated that it would be "the best results ever in the company's history."

Accordingly, Apple expects total company revenue to grow 10-12% year-over-year. This 11% growth would bring next quarter revenue to $137.97 billion , far exceeding the LSEG consensus estimate of $132.31 billion .

According to Cook, this confidence stems from the overwhelmingly positive reception of the iPhone 17 series, and he revealed that customer traffic to the product in stores has increased significantly compared to 2025.

Regarding future plans, Apple has scheduled the release of a new version of Siri in 2026 and will pursue further partnerships, similar to the agreement to integrate ChatGPT into Apple Intelligence in the future.
