- Over the past period, the provincial employment service center has implemented many comprehensive solutions, most notably organizing large-scale job fairs and employment events, attracting the attention of a large number of workers, students, and businesses in the area.
Given its characteristics as a mountainous province with a large geographical area and scattered population, not all workers have access to complete information about employment. In response to this reality, the Provincial Employment Service Center has proactively brought job counseling and placement services directly to the grassroots level; organizing job fairs in communes, schools, and residential areas, helping workers access information more conveniently and directly. Alongside this, propaganda efforts have been intensified, contributing to raising people's awareness of vocational training and employment, gradually changing their mindset and encouraging them to proactively choose career paths that suit their actual conditions and the needs of the labor market.

Notably, the first Job Fair of 2026 recently took place, attracting approximately 2,000 participants and featuring over 25 businesses and training institutions from within and outside the province. This was not only a recruitment event but also provided opportunities for students to gain practical experience, learn about different professions, and plan their future careers.
Vu Hoang Phuong Nga, a 12th-grade student from Chu Van An High School, shared: "Previously, I was quite uncertain about choosing a career path. Participating in the job fair provided me with specific advice on recruitment needs and job opportunities in each field. Thanks to that, I have a clearer direction for my future."
Educational institutions also actively introduce their programs, helping students better understand the training content, learning conditions, and job opportunities after graduation, thereby enabling them to choose more suitable careers.
Job fairs also provide practical opportunities for workers. Ms. Loc Thuy Huong from Tam Thanh ward shared: "After graduating, I worked several jobs, but the income was unstable. When I participated in the job fair, I received advice and applied to Arcadyan Technology Co., Ltd. ( Phu Tho ). Currently, my average salary is between 10 and 15 million VND per month, and the job is stable, so my life is more secure."
On the business side, the demand for labor remains very high, especially for unskilled workers. Ms. Tran Thi Huong, Deputy General Director of Gia Dinh Northern Industrial Investment Joint Stock Company, said: The company focuses on developing the electronics, garment, and wood processing industries. Initially, the company needs to recruit about 1,000 workers for the garment sector, with salaries ranging from 9 to 11 million VND per month, depending on the job position. In the future, when the projects become operational and stable, the company's labor demand is expected to continue to increase, creating more job opportunities for local workers.
Discussing the effectiveness of job placement activities, Mr. Vi Hoai Nam, Deputy Director of the Provincial Employment Service Center, said: The Center identifies its main task as acting as a bridge between workers and businesses. Through direct and online job fairs, information on recruitment needs, salaries, and working conditions is provided promptly, helping workers have more suitable options. A recent development is the increased application of information technology, putting into operation an online job exchange platform, thereby expanding the scope of connections and improving the efficiency of job placement.
In 2025, the center organized 100 job fairs at its facilities, high schools, continuing education centers, and vocational training centers; provided advice and disseminated information on labor and employment policies to over 38,000 people; over 2,500 workers were referred to jobs, and nearly 1,700 were hired, an increase of 20.38% compared to 2024. In addition, nearly 150 workers have gone abroad to work in countries such as Japan, South Korea, and China.
With the coordinated efforts of all levels and sectors, and the positive response of the people, job placement activities are gradually showing clear effectiveness, helping workers find stable jobs and increase their income, while contributing to the socio -economic development of the locality.
