According to MacRumors , first announced at the WWDC 2023 developer conference, the Vision Pro has garnered significant interest from the tech community despite its relatively high price. This is evidenced by the number of pre-orders for this "space computer".

Vision Pro is sold for $3,500.

Research by analyst Ming-chi Kuo indicates that Apple sold approximately 160,000 to 180,000 Vision Pro units in the first week of pre-orders. This information makes Kuo's prediction that the Vision Pro would sell out in the first few days of its release entirely plausible.

Kuo's figures also suggest that Apple could exceed its Vision Pro sales targets in its first year of release. Previous reports indicated Apple aimed to sell around 400,000 Vision Pro units in 2024. Based on available pre-order data, the Vision Pro has already generated $500 million in revenue for Apple.

Vision Pro sales were likely driven by user feedback regarding the product's capabilities. Reports indicated that numerous "space" games and over 150 3D movies would be available on the device, and several professional applications could leverage its power upon release.

Vision Pro was only available in the US market during its initial release. Although not yet sold in Vietnam, some retailers were already advertising the product for 90 million VND upon its launch. Apple is reportedly looking to adjust its supply chain to bring the product to the global market soon and continue expanding its product portfolio, which they claim will help "usher in the era of space computing."
