However, Rice emphasized that character was key to Arsenal overcoming difficult times: "In the Champions League, you have no choice but to push the limits. We had to find every way to win, even when our energy was depleted."
Rice's statements partly reflect the immense pressure that manager Mikel Arteta is facing. As the season enters its crucial stages, the issue of squad rotation becomes more urgent than ever, especially given that Arsenal still have objectives in multiple competitions.
