The image of Arshavin calmly lifting a large glass of beer is surprising. At 44 years old, the former Russian player still has a "very young" face. Not many people realize that this is the talent who once "made waves" at the Euro 2008 finals, and also had many bad habits.
Arshavin retired in 2018, but remained involved in football, taking on an administrative role at Zenit from 2019. He was then appointed Director of Sports Development, before becoming a member of the club's executive board in the summer of 2023.
