Mother gives birth to 6 babies in 10 minutes.

In Brazil, a woman gave birth to six babies in 10 minutes via C-section, a rare occurrence with a probability of one in 4.7 billion births.

Quezia Romualdo, a mother living in Brazil, discovered she was pregnant with six babies in early April. The couple already had a five-year-old daughter.

Upon hearing the news, the couple decided to renovate their home in Colatina to welcome the children. However, the pregnancy was difficult, and Quezia underwent surgery to repair her uterus in early September, preventing premature birth.

On October 3rd, she underwent a Cesarean section at a hospital in Colatina. The surgical team consisted of 32 medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, paramedics, anesthesiologists, and pediatricians.

Just 10 minutes later, six healthy babies were born at 27 weeks of gestation. One was so small it could fit in the doctor's palm and was having trouble breathing.

The surgical team also reported that the remaining five babies were breathing slowly, but their condition stabilized quickly after being intubated. The family decided to name the six babies Theo, Matteu, Lucca, Henry, Eloa, and Mayte.

Sextuplets are extremely rare worldwide , occurring in one in 4.7 billion births. Previously, in 1983, Liverpool Hospital in England recorded a case of sextuplets, each weighing only about 1 kg.

The six Walton sisters—Sarah, Hannah, Ruth, Luci, Kate, and Jennie—used 11,000 diapers each year after their birth on November 18th. They were kept in the neonatal intensive care unit for about six weeks before being discharged.
