Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) has announced the appointment of Rita Mokbel as Director of Ericsson Vietnam. Ms. Mokbel will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's business operations in Vietnam.

In addition, she will continue in her role as Director of Global Customer Relations at Telenor, supporting the Telenor Group in its transformation journey. She remains a member of the regional executive leadership team for Ericsson Southeast Asia, Oceania, and India.
With over 14 years of experience at Ericsson in both regional and global leadership roles, Rita has demonstrated expertise in general management, strategy development, sales, business development, operations management, and technology consulting.
Rita has successfully worked with and collaborated with diverse stakeholders, including media providers, governments , and businesses across continents—Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas—each region presenting unique challenges and needs. Her leading expertise in guiding complex digital transformation journeys, empowering enterprise clients, and achieving impressive growth milestones demonstrates her adaptability and strategic foresight.

Ericsson has reportedly supported service providers in Vietnam through commercial 5G pilot programs since 2020, leveraging its technological leadership to deliver world- class experiences to consumers on expanded 4G base stations – capable of seamlessly and efficiently upgrading to 5G capabilities when needed. Ericsson's 5G solution portfolio can significantly reduce costs and energy consumption per gigabyte transmitted.
