The cold air mass continues to affect the North.

According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, the cold air mass continues to affect some other areas in the South Central region and some areas in the South Central region.

Cold weather, with severe cold in some areas, is occurring in the Northwest and Northeast regions of Vietnam, with temperatures in mountainous areas dropping below 10 degrees Celsius in some places.

Regarding the cold weather, in addition to cold temperatures, with some areas experiencing severe cold, the Northwest and Northeast regions will also have scattered rain. The cold, severe cold, and frost may affect livestock and poultry, as well as the growth and development of crops. Specifically in the Northeast region, there will be northeasterly winds of force 2-3, force 3-4 in coastal areas, with gusts up to force 6-7 in some places.

In the Hanoi area, the weather is cold, with light rain in the early morning of March 31st, followed by scattered rain later. The lowest temperature during this cold spell will generally be 13-15 degrees Celsius.

From March 31st to April 2nd, scattered rain and showers, with thunderstorms in some areas, are expected in the Northern and Central Central regions. Rain, thunderstorms, and the risk of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind may affect crops, livestock, and transportation infrastructure. The sea will be rough, posing a danger to ships.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warns that on the night of March 31st and the day of April 1st, the northern East Sea area (including the waters around the Hoang Sa archipelago) will experience strong northeasterly winds of level 6, gusting to levels 7-8; rough seas; and waves 2-4 meters high.
