During this cold spell, the lowest temperatures in Northern Vietnam will generally be 10–13 degrees Celsius, 7–10 degrees Celsius in mountainous areas, and in some high mountainous regions, temperatures may drop below 3 degrees Celsius.

In the North Central region, the lowest temperatures are generally 12–15 degrees Celsius. Specifically in Hanoi , there will be rain and showers during the day and night of February 8th, and from the afternoon of February 8th to February 9th, the weather will be very cold, with the lowest temperatures ranging from 10–12 degrees Celsius.

In the sea areas from southern Quang Tri to Dak Lak, from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau , and the central and southern parts of the East Sea, northeasterly winds will be force 6, sometimes force 7, gusting to force 8-9, with rough seas and waves 3-5m high.
