Recently, on some social networking sites, there has been a lot of information about fake eggs spreading, causing confusion and anxiety among consumers and negatively affecting domestic livestock farming.
The Vietnam Poultry Association has just sent a dispatch to the Ministry of Public Security , the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Science and Technology, etc. to deny this information. The association said that many poultry farmers are suffering losses as the purchase price of eggs at farms is lower than the cost price, only about 1,400-1,500 VND/egg.
Currently, the price of chicken eggs continues to drop sharply to only about 1,200-1,300 VND/egg. Up to this point, there is no scientific evidence in the world about the production of fake chicken eggs with the same characteristics as natural chicken eggs. In fact, in Vietnam, in the past and present, no fake chicken eggs have been discovered circulating on the market.
Therefore, it can be affirmed that the information spread on social networks about the production of fake chicken eggs in the country is completely fabricated. In the face of the above situation, the Vietnam Poultry Association recommends that the authorities investigate, verify and strictly handle the subjects who have spread false information about fake chicken eggs.
